LAHORE - Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) and Anjuman Talaba Islam (ATI) will take out a protest rally today (Monday) against the terrorist attacks on shrines. Chairman ATI Salman Ch said the rally would be taken out from Data Darbar to Punjab Assembly and then a sit-in would also be staged in front of the Chief Ministers House on The Mall to remind the Punjab government to throw the Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah out of the government. He said rally would be attended by good number of students and devotees from various religious organisations. It is matter of concern that terrorists are roaming freely in the province and shrines of religious leaders and saints are being attacked but Punjab government is unmoved, he added. He said Punjab government should not adopt the compromising attitude towards defunct religious organisations and should start operation against the organisations involved in terrorism.
