LAHORE - Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said he could consider forging an alliance with PML-N if the top leadership of the party declares their assets. Talking to media persons at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, before leaving for China on Monday, Imran said that PTI could consider formation of alliance even if Nawaz Sharif alone declared his actual assets. The offer just a couple of hours after the PTI chairman told a historic rally at Minar-i-Pakistan that his party would bowl out both PML-N and the PPP in the next elections. Imran said that country has undergone a big shift of opinion as sapling of change has been planted and with nutrition of efforts to restore peace and economy of country it will soon start bearing fruit. He said that massive public gathering and unity of patriots has proved that people were fed up of the sitting governments and political leaders who betrayed them while they were in power and also when on opposition benches. Imran Khan said that PTI has torpedoed their (PPP and PML-N) tacit partnership and now they would not be able to keep the power between themselves. Their time is up; its our time now, the PTI chief said, adding that a sweeping revolution was in the making, which would dwarf the one people saw in 1970. Imran, who was quite confident after flexing his political muscles in Lahore, told newsmen that his party had set up a cell to collect the details of politicians assets and as soon as they have enough material, they would knock at the doors of the Supreme Court and the Election Commission of Pakistan. After that (if no positive results come out), we will give an ultimatum and then jam all the cities of Pakistan, he added. He also invited all those politicians who want to save Pakistan to break the shackles of fear and stand by him for the same cause. Imran also forecast elections after March 2012.
