PESHAWAR - As many as 29 Afghan nationals apprehended during the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb operation from different areas of North Waziristan Agency, were handed over to Afghanistan Friday as a goodwill gesture.

According to ISPR, these illegal Afghan immigrants were handed over to Afghanistan at Ghulam Khan, Pak-Afghan border.

These 29 Afghans have been apprehended during operation Zarb-e-Azb from different areas of North Waziristan Agency.

The ISPR said that after detailed investigation it was established that these individuals did not have links with terrorists but were illegal immigrants, living without valid documents.

Those Afghan nationals who were handed over included Naeem Gul, Wali Khan, Naik Marjan, Mir Ali Jan, M. Nabi Khan, M. Azam, M. Hakim, Hikamt Ullah, Farid Ullah, Asmat Ullah, Latif Ullah, Abdul Manan, Aman Ullah, Said Ramzan, Wazir Azam, Khuday Nazar, Zaray Gul, Wali Zar Khan, Rahim Buksh, Gula Noor, Abdul Rauf, Ali Muhammad, Baitullah, M. Gul, Gul Wali, Jahangir, Yaqub, Haji Sher Gul and Bakht Gul.
