LAHORE - To create public awareness of the far-reaching negative impact of narcotics, a walk was taken out from Government Muslim Model High School to Kachehry Chowk.The walk was held jointly by the Excise and Taxation Department, Anti- Narcotics Force, Tanzeemul Fajr Pakistan and a government school. The walk was attended among others by Rizwan Sherwani, Asim Bukhari, Latif Anjum, M Iqbal, Mubarak Ali, M Liaqat, Madam Shehzar, Munir Gil, Naeem, Asif, Akmal Awaisi, Tariq Mehmood, Shahzad, Rabia, Maqsood, Nimra, Maryyam, Kaleem Ahmad and Khalid.- The participants included a number of teachers and students of the Government Civil Lines College, GC University and Punjab University as well as the representatives of political and non-political organizations, government and private employees and health workers. They were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans raising awareness against the use of narcotics.
Obituary
All Pakistan PTCL Pensioners Action Committee expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise of Rana Muhammad Aslam. Mirza Muhammad Jehangir and other members attended the sitting. They lauded the efforts made by the deceased for the rights of the pensioners. They also prayed for the soul of the late PTCL employee.
