ISLAMABAD: The Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has directed the concerned inquiry officers of NAB to complete the inquiry into the corruption cases filed against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif by December 31, the well places sources confided to this scribe.

The Chairman NAB issued these directions while presiding over the DG conference held recently in the capital and said that bureau wants to settle all old cases.

“Corruption inquiries against all the political leaders of the country were being pended in NAB”, he added.

It is worth-mentioning here that Chairman NAB after resuming the charge, had directed the authorities concerned to immediately complete the inquiries of fifteen years old cases and concerned officials following his directions completed the inquiries of 70% cases.

The Chairman NAB has ordered to complete the inquiry of corruption cases worth millions of rupees filed against PM and CM Punjab and other political leaders of the country immediately.

NAB officials told Online that concerned inquiry officers of NAB has speed up to open the file cases of high profiles and expressed their resolve to complete the inquiry process till December 31.
