SIALKOT - The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) formulated a five-member communication committee at Regional Tax Directorate Gujranwala to facilitate the small traders in resolving their problems.

It will also reduce communication gap between the FBR and the small traders and taxpayers.

This committee has been given a special task to end hundreds of cases registered against the small traders in Gujranwala and Hafizabad districts.

Gujranwala Chief Commissioner Income Tax Mansur Ahmed said that communication committee’s members Fazalur Rehman, Babar Khurana, Haji Muhammad Sadique, Naeem and Younas Butt which called on him at his office.

He announced to establish special tax facilitation countres in various parts of the Gujranwala city with the help of local Markazi Anjuman Tajraan. The FBR officials will listen to their problems of the local tax payers and local traders. He said that the FBR consult the local traders in launching recovering campaign against the tax defaulters in the region.

Mansur Ahmed said that the traders were the backbone of the national economy and FBR would provide them with maximum tax-related facilities and incentives besides seeking their active cooperation in bringing maximum people under the tax net.
