ISLAMABAD - Peshawar Board won the All-Pakistan Inter-Board Boy's Tennis Championship after defeating hosts Islamabad Board 2-1 in the final yeterday. The event was played under the patronage of Federal Education Board Islamabad. IPC Minister Mian Riaz Husain Pirzada graced the occasion as chief guest. Rawalpindi Board clinched third place after defeating Faisalabad Board 2-0. Aman Atiq gave Islamabad lead in first match as he defeated Peshawar's Barkatullah 6-1, 6-2. Saqib of Peshawar beat Sairam 6-0, 6-3 to take the match into decider doubles match. Barkatullah and Yousaf Khan beat Aman Attique and Shahzaib 6-2, 6-0 to help Peshawar Board clinch the title. For third place Rawalpindi Board's Sheraz beat Faisalabad's Usman Khan 6-4, 6-2, while Zikria beat Shahryar 6-3, 6-1.
