SILS introduced to public sector schools

LAHORE - Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has said that under the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab “Parho Punjab; Barho Punjab” Smart Interactive Learning System (SILS) has been introduced to the government schools.

He expressed these views while addressing the inaugural ceremony of Smart Interactive Learning System for Government Shuhada-e-APS Memorial Girls High School, Model Town on Monday.

The minister said that new educational learning system would make the education easier, full of entertainment and has the capability to evaluate the skills of different children during the learning process in an accurate manner.

It also provide an opportunity to the children to interact with new and latest technology, he added. He said that learn through the interactive smart boards and educational software applications that is made by Cultural Infusion.

“We will not stop until every child has the basic right of education and we are focusing to enhance more enrollments from rural and urban areas,” the minister said and added, “Our aim is to provide free and quality education with dignity to the every child of Pakistan”.

Later, Rana Mashhood while addressing a conference on empowering young women to achieve sustainable future organized by Youth Revolution Clan at Kinnaird College said that educated women play a key role for the development of the country.

The Punjab government was taking revolutionary steps to provide modern education to young women for sustainable future, he maintained.
