HYDERABAD - Death row prisoner, Sikandar Joyo who received capital punishment in a murder case has been executed by the authorities of Central Prison here on Tuesday morning.
According to jail authorities Sikandar Joyo s/o Bahadur Joyo 45 was convicted and awarded death sentence by the District and Session Judge Dadu on charge of killing his eight years old niece after
assaulting her in the year 2000. His appeals were rejected by Sindh High Court and later the Supreme Court while the President of Pakistan had also rejected his mercy appeal on October 5, 2017.
The Black Warrant of the accused was issued on October 25, 2017 and on early Tuesday morning he was hanged to death in the Central Prison Hyderabad.
