KARACHI - Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Khan Siyal has held a meeting with All Pakistan Security Agencies (APSA) and directed that all security companies should follow same rules and regulations in Sindh.

He directed formation of Security Company’s Vigilance Committees and selection of guard especially deployed on banks duties should be on merit.

The minister said that private security companies should ensure to follow State Bank manual.

Siyal said strict law should be followed in the process of verification of a person being appointed as security guard and in training.

The meeting was also attended by IG Sindh A.D Khawaja, Secretary Home Qazi Pervez Shahid, Additional IG Special Branch, DIG RRF, SSU, Chairman APSA Major Retired Munir Ahmed who was accompanied with seven members delegation.

Minister said that the Sindh Government is ready to provide all the technical and professional training to the private security guards and in this regard, if necessary, the government can amend or modify the Security Companies Ordinance Act.

The APSA delegation thanked the Minister for his all out cooperation and unconditional support.
