Rawalpindi-Police have found two dead bodies from different areas of the division here on Tuesday, sources said. The dead bodies were shifted to hospitals where the deceased were identified as Ahmed Raza Bangish and Babar Shehzad, a resident of Kahuta, sources said. According to sources, Rawat police found a dead body dumped in Phase VII of a private housing society. Police moved the dead body via Rescue 1122 to DHQ for post-mortem.

The deceased was identified as Ahmed Raza Bangish, however, the reason behind the murder was yet to be ascertained. A police officer told that police have registered a case against unknown killers after finding the dead body from a private housing society. He said the body seemed seven days old. In Kahuta, police have also recovered dead body of a 32-year-old man lying alongside a road near Barotha Village on Kotli-Kahuta Road. The dead man was identified as Babar Shehzad.

The dead body was moved to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kahuta for an autopsy.

Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station (PS) Kahuta Sardar Shakil, when contacted, said a dead body was found dumped alongside the road. He said that there were no torture marks on the dead body.

However, he said, the brother of deceased approached police and accused father in law, mother in law and wife of Babar Shehzad of killing him. He said police would register a murder case against the accused after the investigation.

Separately, two unknown assailants shot and injured a 47-year-old man identified as Khalil Ahmed within limits of PS Banni while Rescue 1122 shifted the maimed person to Holy Family Hospital for medical treatment. According to police, Khalil was accompanying a woman when he came under armed attack launched by two unidentified assailants. The reason behind the attack was yet to be ascertained.

Moreover, at least five passengers were injured when a passenger wagon collided with a car on Chakri Road. Rescue 1122 rushed to the accident place and conducted rescue operation and shifted five injured passengers to DHQ where they have been identified as Rafaqat, Uzma, Anika, Tehseen and Saleem.
