ISLAMABAD   - The federal government has given the acting charge of Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom Division to Sohail Aamir, a garde-22 officer for a week, and also issued notification of retirement of several senior bureaucrats. 

According to Establishment Division’s notification, Rizwan Bashir Khan, a garde-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service Secretary IT and Telecom has been granted five days leave till 03-11-2017. In the absence of Bashir, Secretary Overseas Pakistan Amir will look after the affairs of IT and Telecom Division. 

The federal government also issued the notification of retirement of former Inspector General Punjab Police Captain (Retd) Muhammad Usman, a grade-22 officer of Police Service of Pakistan serving under Government of Punjab. He will retire from the government service on 01-11-2017 on attaining the age of superannuation. 

Muhammad Siddique Memon, a grade-22 officer of PAS, presently posted as Secretary Communication Division will retire from government service on 18-12-2017. Hamad Awais Agha, grade-21 officer of PAS, presently posted as Additional Secretary, Revenue Division. He will retire from the government service on 21-01-2018 on attaining the age of superannuation. 

On the other hand, Muhammad Umar Sheikh, a grade-20 officer of PSP presently serving in the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) was transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of National Highways and Motorway Police under Ministry of Communications with immediate effect and until further orders.
