OKARA-The two-day annual Urs of renowned religious scholar Maulana Ghulam Ali Okarvi is commenced here on Tuesday.
According to Maulana Pir Khalid Zahid Ashrafi, the Urs celebrations would be observed under the guidance of shrine caretaker Pir Mufti Fazlur Rehman Okarvi.
He said that renowned religious scholars including Allama Kaukab Noorani Okarvi, Allama Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah, Allama Gulzaman Attari, Allama Imran Asi would attend the Urs. Besides, devotees from across the country and also the foreign countries would attend the occasion. The Urs would be concluded on Nov 1 after Isha prayers.
