A woman among three people was injured in an armed clash between two rival groups on Thursday.

Police said that armed persons of two groups, which were in old dispute, traded fire in Chak 642-GB of Jaranwala, Faisalabad district. Three people including a woman were injured in the exchange of fire and were shifted to hospital for treatment. As per reports, the police arrested five people of both groups with arms.

The DSP of Jaranwala and SHO of Landiawala with heavy contingent of police reached the scene of the clash, arrested five members of the two clashing groups with arms and after registering a case against them started investigation.
