MADRID (AFP) - Spanish doctors were caring Friday for a baby who was delivered by emergency workers after a deranged gunman shot and killed an expectant mother in a Madrid church, officials said. At the request of the family, a spokeswoman at the Spanish capital's Hospital de La Paz said Friday she could give no update on the baby's condition. The drama unfolded Thursday evening in the Santa Maria del Pinar church in northern Madrid. "An individual enters and without a word shoots a pregnant woman in the head, then fires at another woman in the chest and then commits suicide with the same weapon," police said.
