RAWALPINDI - A Ranger official was killed while five other persons including two Rangers officials got injured when a security vehicle of the convoy of Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry rammed into median of a road while taking a turn near Benazir Bhutto International Islamabad Airport (BBIIAP) on Friday. According to details, a vehicle of Rangers officials, in the CJs convoy, collided with median near the airport. As a result, three Rangers officials and three other passers-by got injured. All the injured were shifted to hospital for medical treatment by the rescuers. Later, a Rangers person died. The deceased was identified as Ashiq Hussain while Ijaz and Ghulam Rasool, both the Rangers officials, were among injured. The name of injured could not be identified. However, the car carrying the CJP passed from the turn safely. The CJP was going to the airport to get flight PK-391 for Lahore.
