Our Staff Reporter MULTAN/ TOBA TEK SINGH - Strong reaction sparked against America on her allegations levelled against Pakistan and ISI as a string of protests and rallies took place in Multan here on Friday. The activists of Muttahidda Shehri Mahaaz, Jago Pakistan Tehrik, Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, JUI-F, Chamber of Small Traders, All Pakistan Power Looms Association and Auto Rickshaw Union brought out separate rallies and strongly condemned American behaviour. The participants of the rallies shouted anti-US slogans and burnt American flags as well as the effigies of US president Obama. They were also holding national flags. The activists of Jago Pakistan Tehrik held rally at Pul Wasil Sooraj Miani area while the workers of Muttahidda Shehri Mahaaz, Jamat-e-Islami, Pakistan Tehrik-s-Insaf, JUI (F), Chamber of Small Traders, All Pakistan Powerlooms Association and Auto Rickshaw Union gathered at Chungi No-9 in form of small rallies and assembled in a big one. They marched on city roads and held a protest demonstration at Chowk Ghanta Ghar. Speaking on this occasion, Tariq Naem Ullah, Rabia Minal Khan, Ashraf Ali Ateeq, Khaliq Qandeel, Khalid Qureshi, Kh Shafique and others said that the USA had launched a direct attack on the security and solidarity of Pakistan. They said that American provocation had united entire nation at one platform. They asked the government to breach diplomatic ties with the USA and expel its envoy from Pakistan. They also urged upon the army chief to give matching response to the American general and secure national interests. RALLY TO EXPRESS SOLIDARITY WITH ARMY ON MONDAY: All parties conference which held here on Friday, decided that to show solidarity with armed forces, a joint anti-America rally will be taken out at here on Monday while a public meeting will also be held in Saddar bazaar Chowk at the end of rally. While addressing the conference PTI leader Ghiasuddin Janbaz, Jamaat-e-Islami Tehsel Ameer Mufti Sanaullah, MQM organiser advocate Iftikhar Sindhu, Sunni Tehreek leader Maulana Hameed Uddin Rizvi, Jamiat Ahle Hadith District Ameer Mufti Muhammad Aslam, Jamaatud Dawa leader Maulana Muhammad Ismail, Tehreek-e-Tuhaffaz Khateme Nabowat leader Maulana Abdullah Ludhianvi, and former district nazim and PML-Q leader Ch Muhammad Ashfaq announced that the entire nation was behind armed forces in case Pakistan area was attacked by America or Nato forces.
