LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said yesterday that PTI gathered from 15,000 to 30,000 supporters at its show, a ridiculously rough estimate given by a key government functionary.

“From a city of 20 million people, Imran failed to rally even 100,000 supporters,” the minister said, adding that the PTI chief is pursuing the politics of chaos which the masses rejected.

“The protest at a time when the enemy is in action to affect the CPEC project is a totally disservice to the country,” he said.  Sana said it is time to show solidarity with the national cause and Kashmiris whose case against the Indian oppressions was being taken up with the world.

“Imran is worried that umpire is not raising finger” he said, adding that such a sit-in will never help Khan become PM.  It is an eye-opener for Khan that no other opposition party but Sheetan Party (AML) joined is supporting his protest march.  He said Imran was longing for becoming PM ignored the public security.–Staff Reporter

He said the government fulfilling the obligation of protecting life of the people, undertook detailed, comprehensive and highly foolproof security steps on the occasion. Huge spending was incurred on the security arrangements as protection to the life of every citizen is most dear to the government, he added.
