LAHORE - A five-year-old boy was gunned down during street fight here in Shafiqabad area, police said on Tuesday. Police said that the boy later identified as Abdul Rahman son of Shakeel and resident of Kasurpura, fell victim to crossfire between two persons during scuffle, which took place over a minor issue. According to the police, two local residents Ahmad and Faisal were fighting with each other over some minor issue when the deceaseds father Shakeel tried to reconcile them. The men got infuriated during brawl and opened straight fire. The boy who was watching the fight sustained bullets and fell down. However, his father Shakeel remained unhurt. The armed men managed to escape from the scene. The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to bullet wounds due to excessive bleeding. The police have removed the body to the morgue for autopsy. The police have also registered against Ahmed and Faisal on the complaint of deceaseds father and are investigating with no arrest made so far.
