PTI ignored KP problems for sake of unconstitutional

sit-in: Sherpao

Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, parliamentary leader of Quami Watan Party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly, has said that the PTI government has ignored the problems of the province for the sake of its unconstitutional sit-in in Islamabad.

He was addressing a public meeting here at Akhunabad area on Sunday. On this occasion Ex-Nazim UC Akhunabad Islam-ud-Din along with his family and scores of his supporters joined QWP.

Sherpao regretted that the provincial government had stationed in the federal capital for the last two weeks and left the masses helpless. He continued that practically there is no government in the province which was increasing the sense of deprivation among the people. He deplored that the KP government was misusing the official resources on aimless sit-ins while the vital issues of province had been put on backburner.

Sikandar Sherpao observed that those raising slogan for change had further aggravated the problems of the people. He said that the irresponsible attitude of PTI government had led the province to political instability, financial degradation and social unrest which had further heightened the backwardness of the KP.

The QWP leader said that after having enjoyed the government for the last 14 months now PTI raised hue and cry over rigging just to mislead the people. Many people, he viewed, have died due to hailstorm but chief executive had stayed at Islamabad and left the people in lurch. He laminated that government had not done anything for the IDPs. He said that people were crying hard for basic amenities but the chief minister and his cabinet contrary to the public mandate had been busy in Islamabad.
