Islamabad: Court accepted the custodian bail of former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillanni for 7 days, Waqt News reported. Former Prime Minister (PM) Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has filed bail before arrest plea, in Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Single bench of IHC led by Justice Noor ul Haq N Qureshi will take up the petition for hearing. FIA has registered a dozen cases against former PM, in Trade Development of Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) scam in Karachi.

The petitioner took plea in the petition that his name was not recorded in FIR and later his name was included deliberately in challan. The petitioner requested the court to accept his plea for bail before arrest. Talking to journalits, he said that his non-bail able orders were issued on September 10; he presented himself in the court on suggestion of his advocates. He further said: We respect courts and it is history of our party and expect justice from the court.
