LAHORE - The Walled City of Lahore Authority has started operation against illegal constructions and plazas in Walled City and in this regard a list of illegal buildings has been prepared.
Initially, the building control department of authority on Monday demolished an illegal plaza in Masti Gate and retrieved a precious piece of government land worth Rs800 million.
The spokesperson for WCLA Sania Qureshi said in this regard that Authority before demolishing the plaza, has served notices to the occupants Ameer Khan, Taj Khan and Sher Afzal while such persons not only were threatening the officials of WCLA officials but also were not ready to vacate the land.
