The federal government has formally announced to auctioned modern and luxury vehicles of Prime Minister House on September 17.
According to media reports, vehicles to be put to auction include eight BMWs, three cars of Model 2014, three SUVs of 5000 CC, two SUVs of 3000 CC of Model 2016, four Mercedes of model 2016 including two bulletproof cars of 4000 CC, 16 Toyota Corolla cars including one Lexus car of model 2004, Lexus SUV2006, two land carousers of model 2004 and other vehicles that were purchased from year 2003 to 2013, four bullet-proof land carousers of Model 2015, 1800 Honda civic, three vehicles of Suzuki including one APV of model 2013 while two Cultus and Hanau Bus of model 1994.
It is vital to mention here that Prime Minister Imran Khan in his maiden address to the nation after clinching majority in the July 25 general elections 2018 had announced to auction government modern and luxury vehicles by adopting ‘austerity policy’ besides making PM house a world-class research university.
