LAHORE – Special Education and Training Center (SETC) Johar Town is organising a training workshop on “Child psychiatry-a whistle stop tour” on Monday (today) to develop awareness about the increased psychological problems among children and adolescents. Dr Amina Tareen, who is child psychiatrist at North London (Barnet) Hospital and lecturer at Imperial College London, will conduct the workshop. Prof Kh. Saadiq Husain former principal King Edward Medical College will be the chief guest on this occasion, says a press release. Dr Khalida Tareen, Professor Emeritus, King Edward Medical University, said that psychological problems of children and adolescents are increasing in a way that they have started affecting their academics as well as their relations with their parents and relatives.
