KARACHI - Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), on Monday declared six more buildings as dangerous and unstable while one building situated in Saddar area here needs immediate repair work.

This was said in a survey report prepared by the Technical Committee of the SBCA for dangerous buildings.

The committee comprising construction experts and engineers led by Director Buildings, Aa building at plot no: 1-AR C-11, Ranchore Lane. Ground-plus-one building at plot no. 24-N.P-9 in Naiper Quarters and a ground-plus-three storeyed building at plot no 23-NP-2 in Saddar have been declared dangerous for housing people.

It said the owners and inhabitants of these six buildings have also been warned through notice to vacate the buildings immediately and there are possibilities of collapse accidentally.

The committee also declared that a ground-plus-four storeyed building on plot no. 28-NP-2 in Saddar, needs immediate repair under the supervision of construction consultants.
