ISLAMABAD - Akbar Football Club lifted the Chaudhry Rehmat Ali Memorial Football Tournament after defeating Al-Muslim FC 2-0 in the final played here at Municipal Stadium on Monday.
Al-Muslim Club striker Musaddaq missed a penalty kick in the 20th minute, which proved to be the turning point of the match as Akbar Club taking full advantage of it scored the first goal in the 60th minute while Mansoor scored second in the dying moments of the match to give his side victory.
Former MNA Hanif Abbasi was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony.
