PESHAWAR - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Union Council-IV Senior Vice President Abid Bacha resigned from the party basic membership and announced joining Qaumi Watan Party (QWP).

Addressing a news conference on Monday here at the press club, Abid Bacha said that the PTI leadership was ignoring the party ideological workers and preferred their blue-eyed in awarding party tickets.

He said that merit was openly violating in awarding party tickets to candidates for the upcoming general elections in the country.

Flanked by QWP PK-1 Leader Falak Niaz, he expressed confidence in QWP leadership and principally decided to resign from PTI and join Aftab Sherpao-led QWP.

He said that the QWP would get success in the upcoming general elections in KPK.
