Shahbaz sees PML-N triumph in election

LAHORE – Former chief minister Shahbaz Sharif has foreseen the victory of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in the forthcoming general elections.
The warm reception accorded to PML-N President Nawaz Sharif at meetings showed public trust in the PML-N as they are vexed by the corruption of President Asif Ali Zardari-led Pakistan People’s Party,” he said while speaking to PML-N leaders and workers Monday.
The former chief minister pledged to launch the Metro Bus Service in Karachi, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and other major cities after coming into power. He said the masses had judged the performance of the PML-N government in Punjab. And, he added that the response of the masses was clearly in favour of the PML N.
Chiding the PPP, Shahbaz said: the PML-N was delivering when the Zardari-led coalition was busy with its corruption spree.
He mentioned his government’s initiatives such as Metro Bus Service, Rawalpindi Cardiology Hospital, solar lamps and laptop distribution etc. But, he rued his opponents stooped to criticise these projects.
