KARACHI – Four persons, including two policemen were killed in separate acts of violence here on Monday.

Two traffic police personnel were killed and one injured when some unidentified armed culprits opened fire at police post at Lasbella in the limits of Jamshed Quarter police station.

DSP Majeed Abbas said the incident occurred when four armed riders sprayed bullets at the Lasbella police post. As a result, he said victims Feroze and Shabbir died at spot while Riaz was injured.

Bodies were moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy. He said the victims Feroze and Shabbir, hailed from Hazara. He said case had been registered against the unidentified culprits while motive behind the incident was yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, police found two bullet-riddled bodies from different areas of Lyari.

Baghdadi Police found one body from Bantwa Lane and the other from Moosa Lane, said police and eyewitness. They said that bodies were found from abandoned places. They looked like Baloch and aged between 25-30 years. Later, they said that the victim found from Moosa Lane was identified as Jameel Baloch, hailing from Balochistan. They said the Jameel worked at a local hotel and unidentified men had killed him over unknown reasons. They further said the identity of the other victim was yet to be ascertained.

Later, the bodies were moved to Civil Hospital Karachi for autopsy. No case was registered till the filing of this story.
