BOK Islamic Banking branch starts operation

MARDAN (PR): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister Finance Siraj-ul-Haq said that Islam is complete code of life and our prosperity is in compliance of Islamic Code of Finances, our society can flourish only and only when we adopted that Islamic ways in our daily life, This was stated by Senior Minister Finance Siraj-ul-Haq was specking at the inaugurating The Bank of Khyber (BOK) Raast Islamic Banking Branch at Khwaja GunjBazzar Mardan.   Managing Director BOK Imran Samad, Group Heads and Divisional Heads from Head Office also attended the inaugural ceremony.   Siraj-ul-Haq also spoke on occasion the present Provincial Government policy guide lines on Banking, Finance, Trade and Investment and assured that the Government is committed for the well being of common man with its resources.

Samsung to launch range of LED lamp solutions

 LAHORE (PR): Samsung Electronics Co announced it will launch a range of LED lamp solutions at Light + Building 2014, the world’s leading trade fair for architecture and technology, taking place in Frankfurt, Germany. The new models are a lighter and more efficient PAR-series, lamps with a swivel-head PAR, a decorative classic design LED lamp, and an L-tube series with ECG and CCG compatibility.

Wateen to provide free Wi-Fi service to CAA Airports

KARACHI (PR): Civil Aviation Authority Pakistan (CAA) has selected Wateen as an exclusive Wi-Fi provider for establishing state of the art Wi-Fi/Hotspot zones at all CAA major airports in Pakistan.

The WiFi service was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, representing the Chairman Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Group, along with the CCMO CAA Asif Bashir Khan. Others present at the inauguration includes, GM Commercial & Land Division (North) Amjad Mukhtar Malik, Chief Transformation Officer Wateen Telecom Asad Rezzvi, Head of Special Projects Shahbaz Khan and Marketing Manager (South) Farhan Nabi Khan.

Wateen Telecom was selected after a transparent vendor selection process. Wateen Telecom will manage and operate Wi-Fi services throughout all the major international airports in Pakistan. The five-year agreement between the two organisations will enable millions of travellers to use internet annually.
