RAWALPINDI: Department of bachelors of computer arts of Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) arranged three-day workshop on photography here at the varsity on Tuesday.
Resource person of the workshop was Anthony Lam, senior lecturer at Gloucestershire University, London. The students discussed and presented their own photographic documentations.
The participants worked in groups, which enabled them to learn actively. Participants created online blogs to upload and share their images among themselves and as a window for others to view their work.
Anthony Lam shared photographs of other contemporary artists like Christopher Brown, Joy Gregory, Paul Graham, Fazal Sheikh, Jeff Wall and others on the occasion.
He discussed camera techniques in detail with the participants. He said that usage of new techniques was not common in Pakistan. He also underlined the importance of photography in current scenario.–Staff Reporter
