Allottees urge FGEHF to expedite G-14 uplift

islamabad - The allottees of sector G-14 have asked the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) to expedite development work in sector G-14 to redress their grievances.
According to them, all dues of their respective plots have been paid while amount of built-up properties (BuPs) has also been paid on demand of FGEHF.
The allottees said that the FGEHF was avoiding to give the possession of their allotted plots within speculated time, adding, huge amount in this regard has also been paid by the allottees however no possession was given till date.
Some of them who got retirement from their services are much worried about their plots’ possession, as they have been paying huge amount on house rent since long.
The FGEHF had announced allotment of Sector G-14’s sub sectors 1, 2 and 3 for different categories of government officers and other segments through balloting in 2003 but it was delayed due to illegal encroachment and built-up properties.
Around 8,000 applicants were allotted plots in three sub-sectors and it was expected that within three to four years development of the sector will be completed and possession of the plots will be handed over to the allottees. The management of FGEHF has received the BUPs amount however the pace of work is still very slow.
