Lahore: Advisor Warda of British Council Library Lahore was heading the event of family book club: Harry Potter and Philosopher’s Stone, On Saturday.

The event based on discussion between the advisor of the library and children about the book named Harry Potter and Philosopher’s Stone by J.K.Rowling. Warda was addressing to the children and asking them questions related to the book like: how they felt when they read the book first, the prediction of ending of the book. She also asked the kids about their favorite characters in the book and why they are their favourite. She also took their reviews about that book.

After this question answer session, the advisor arranged the activity for kids in which they were asked to act their favourite part or the character’s mimicry of the book. And then the advisor distributed prizes among children who took part in that activity. There was also the arrangement of refreshment.

The advisor said that British Council Library arranges such events for the kids and also for the adults, every month. She further said that these kind of events bring enthusiasm among the children so that they can contribute in discussion confidently. It also urges the craving in them of getting knowledge regarding different perspectives. It brings vast exposure in their thinking level too. These kind of events and platforms help children to build their confidence level and they can share their views with each other.
