Our Staff Reporter HAFIZABAD - Media personnel were allegedly attacked by DHQ Hospital doctors here the other day. As per detail, few media personnel were visiting the DHQ Hospital following reports that some patients had fallen unconscious due to the administration of wrong injections when doctor In-charge Basharat Ghummon and others allegedly tortured them and also snatched away their camera. However, on the report of Dr Basharat Ghummon, a case against two local media men Yaqoob Shahzad, Zaheer Shah and eight unidentified persons was registered, charging the media men with attacking the doctors. On the other, a cross case against Dr Ghummon, MS Dr Aslam, three doctors and 29 others was also registered at the City Police Station on the complaint of the media men. Meanwhile, the members of the Hafizabad Press Club vehemently condemned the highhandedness of the doctors and demanded arrest of the responsible for torturing the local media men and snatching their camera. SASTA BAZAARS START FUNCTIONING: Four Sasta Ramazan Bazaars, set up each in Hafizabad, Pindi Bhattian, Jalalpur Bhattian and Vanike Tarar, have started functioning ahead of Ramazan here the other. As per detail, local traders have set up their stalls where pulses, ghee, sugar and wheat flour are available according to the requirement of the citizens. On the other hand, the Market Committee has also established fair price shops where vegetables, fruits and dates are available at subsidized rates. According to official source, one and two kg packs of sugar are being sold at Rs68 per kg, 10-kg bag of wheat flour at Rs220 and 20-kg bag of flour is being provided at Rs400. It has been learnt that many people have started rushing towards Sasta Bazaars.
