The Supreme Court has rejected the bail plea of former religious affairs minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi main accused in Hajj corruption case and former Religious Affairs Ministry joint secretary Aftab Islam. A two-member Supreme Court bench, headed by Justice Jawwad S Khawaja heard the bail plea of Kazmi and Islam. The defendants lawyers told the court that the investigation submitted an incomplete challan against the accused and did not initiate their trial so their bail plea should be accepted.
