ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz reacted to the Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilanis speech in the National Assembly by saying that the opposition firmly believes in the electoral process and does not want to come to power through the backdoors. PML-N provincial chief organiser Sardar Mehtab Abbasi told the House that 'their criticism is aimed at improving governance and resolution of the problems of the people. Abbasi said that the current government was a production of the NRO, and that the FIA officials, who were doing good job in the Haj and NICL corruption cases, were transferred on orders of the prime minister. Moreover, he said, The PPP government was not serious about the restoration of judges. It was due to the pressure from lawyers and the public that they restored the judges. Abbasi went on to say that the PML-Q was part of the government for its own interests. He also demanded of the government to formulate an independent foreign policy and revisit the decision about Pakistans participation in the war on terrorism.
