LAHORE - The Opposition has requisitioned a Punjab Assembly session to discuss a host of issues including alleged financial indiscipline and bad law and order situation in the province. PPPs Deputy Parliamentary Leader Shaukat Mahmood Basra submitted the requisition on Monday, bearing the signatures of 108 legislators belonging to the PPP and PML-Q. It has been stated in the requisition paper that Opposition wanted to convene the session to discuss issues like financial indiscipline in Punjab, bad law and order situation, unfair distribution of development funds and prevailing sense deprivation among the people living in Seraiki and Pothohar belts in Punjab. Talking to reporters, Basra said the joint Opposition had submitted its fifth requisition.
