OUR STAFF REPORTER BAHAWALNAGAR - Traders were deprived of valuables here on Sunday night. Six armed men committed two different robberies in the precinct of city police Chishtian and Shaher Farid. In the first incident, three dacoits committed robbery in Chishtian on Qaziwala Road depriving Abdul Latif of Rs110,000. They also looted Rs90,000 from a nearby shop in this duration and they opened fire when they faced resistance and injured the trader. Robbers managed to escape from the spot after leaving their motorbike .Chishtian police have booked the three unknown culprits. In the second incident, three other gangsters snatched motorbike from Muhammad Yasin at gun point, and injured him when he resisted. Robbers fled away with motorbike. Meanwhile, in another incident Irfan and his two accomplices picked goat couple from the house of one Muhammad Hussain in a motor rickshaw. Muhammad Husain and his relatives chased the thieves and forced them to flee away after leaving their assets. Chishtian police have registered the case.
