LAHORE – There are reports that Senior Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa has developed serious differences with the PML-N high command, as some of his close associates say Khosa has decided to resign from the Senate and basic membership of the party. On the other hand, senior and reliable sources within the party are of the view that the PML-N is a large political entity and such differences are a routine matter.
They say Khosa is neither leaving the party not tendering resignation from the Senate.
According to sources, the top leadership of PML-N has started making efforts to soften the stance of Khosa, as they are trying to stop him from submitting resignation. In this connection, meetings continued till late Wednesday night.
