LAHORE - Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said no long march or protest can stop the PML-N government from leading the country to progress and prosperity.
Talking to a delegation of PML-N Youth Wing in Murree on Friday, he said Pakistan did not need such a long march as could damage the national unity. Instead, the country needed a long march for progress and development.
He said the country would achieve its goal, the darkness would be removed and it would emerge as a strong economic force.
The chief minister said Pakistan was passing through the most critical phase of its history and the Pak Army was fighting the enemies of peace. He said officers and jawans of the armed forces were bravely facing terrorists for survival of the country. He lauded the IDPs who had left their homes due to the war on terror and were facing hardships for peace and future of the country.
The chief minister underlined need for unity to solve the problems being faced by the nation, saying every member of the society should play his role in this regard. He was sure the country would emerge as a haven of peace and achieve the goal of development and prosperity.
