Police-public bodies to be reorganised for better society

NOORPUR THAL  - Newly-posted Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Qalab Abbas Khan has said that Noorpur Thal is very peaceful Tehsil and people of the area are very cooperative with the administration for law and order. He said that if policemen perform their duty honestly and devotedly to provide safety and justice to the people, this would not only be professional duty but also would get the blessings of Almighty Allah. According to the DSP, he had directed the policemen to perform their duty with honesty and dedication. Qalab Abbas Khan vowed to leave no stone unturned to protect people’s life and property. He emphasized on the people of Thal to cooperate with the police against criminals. He added that police public committees would be reorganized for betterment of society. On the occasion, the journalists assured DSP of cooperation to ensure crime-free Tehsil.
Dilapidated roads:  Expressing grave concern over the dilapidated condition of different roads in Thal, transporters have appealed to the high-ups to take notice.
Addressing a press conference, Thal Transporters Association (TTA) President Tajmal Hussain Khan said that Noopur-Dhmak Road had been ruined adding to passengers and motorists woes alike. “The condition of Nikroo-Bambool Road also needs immediate attention of authorities concerned,” he added.
Tajmal said that Noorpur-Bambool Road was an important route which connected the district Jhang with district Khushab and people across the Thal traveled by the road but despite 50 years no attention was paid on its condition.
He appealed to the Punjab Chief Minister for taking quick action on broken condition of the roads of Thal and direct authorities concerned for taking immediate steps for their early construct.
