ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had a meeting with former MNA from Haripur Sardar Muhammad Mushtaq at PM House Saturday.
Sardar Muhammad Mushtaq has also been former provincial minister and two times MPA from District Haripur. Sardar Muhammad Mushtaq announced joining PML-N and expressed full confidence in the leadership of the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif welcomed Sardar Muhammad Mushtaq on his joining of PML-N and hoped that his association with PML-N will strengthen the party in Haripur and he will contribute towards making the party cadres more active.
Sardar Muhammad Mushtaq apprised the PM about the development and other requirements of Haripur. The prime minister assured him that in his visit to Haripur he will issue directions for the solution of problems faced by the people of the area.
Sardar Muhammad Mushtaq assured the prime minister that he will fully support the party in the upcoming NA 19 by-elections.
The meeting also discussed the political situation in KP. President of PML-N, Pir Sabir Shah; Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Murtaza Javed Abbasi; Capt (Retd) Muhammad Safdar (MNA) and SAPM on Political Affairs, Dr Asif Kirmani were present in the meeting.
