A 55-year-old man was stabbed to death by unidentified men who broke into his house and killed him, in Shahdara area of Lahore.
It has been revealed by the police that the deceased Muhammad Amjad was stabbed in the neck with a sharp instrument, probably a knife.
It is pertinent to note that the victim was the chairman of Zakat Committee in Syed Park Shahdara.
The incident has been brought in to the knowledge of police by the housekeeper, as victim's children reside abroad.
It has been further revealed by the police that the victim, Muhammad Amjad had recently divorced his wife, and a night before his murder, a masked woman came to his house.
The case has been registered, and the body has been shifted to the morgue for further investigation.
