Security at weekly bazaars to be beefed up

ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Capital Territory Administration has decided to improve and enhance the security in the weekly bazaars including H-9 weekly bazaar in order to ensure protection of life and property of the citizens. In this regard, security and parking arrangements at weekly bazaar H-9 and other weekly bazaars were reviewed at a meeting held here on Monday in the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) ICT Rana Akbar Hayat under his chairmanship. Superintendent of Police, headquarter Mirvaiz Niaz, Assistant Commissioner Captain (R) Farid ,assistant director,CDA, Weekly bazaars, representatives of management of weekly bazaars and private security company attended the meeting . It was decided that CDA weekly bazaars officials would soon make arrangements for installation of walk through gates at the entry and exit points of H-9 weekly bazaars and trained security guards would be deployed in the weekly bazaars for the security purpose.
