OUR STAFF REPORTER SADIQABAD - A woman has appealed to the district police officer of Rahim Yar Khan to take steps for the release of his son who was abducted four years ago allegedly by some local people. Talking to the media at the DPO Officer, Maqsoodan Bibi, a resident of village Pakka Laran of tehsil Rahim Yar Khan, said that Shabbir Ahmad, his 13-year-old son, went missing four years ago, but her all the effort to find him were in vain. Afterwards, the woman said, she came to know that local people - Siddique Ahmad, Muhammd Shafiq and Muhammad Aashiq - abducted her son. She added that the accused had confessed to abduct Shabbir. Then I filed a complaint with the Pakka Laran police station but I was expelled from the police station while repeatedly jolting me in spite of taking action against the abductors, she alleged. She also expressed a fear that her son might have been killed. I dont know whether he is alive but I am passing my life with a hope that I will meet him again, she said. Maqsoodan urged DPO Sohail Zafar to arrest the alleged abductors, get her son recovered and take strict action against the police officials for not registering a first information report against the accused.
