At least eight persons including two members of peace committee, three women and two children were killed in separate clashes between militant groups and peace committee. According to details, the deaths took place when armed men of banned outfits Lashkar-e-Islam and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) clashed on early Friday. The two groups used heavy and automatic weapons against each other. In cross firing a member of the group along with five others including three women and two children were killed. Meanwhile in Datakhel Bazar, tehsil Landi Kotal of Khyber Agency extremists clashed with members of peace committee killing two peace committee persons and injuring two others. The injured persons were rushed to nearby hospital where their condition was said to be serious. Heavy contingent of security forces reached the scene after both incidents and launched search operation but no arrest were made.
