LAHORE: The Civil Society Network Pakistan Sunday stage a protest against inflation and price hike at Shadman Sunday Bazar.
On the occasion, president of Civil Society Network Abdullah Malik said, “It is the duty of the government to control the prices of commodities but it failed to do so. The prices are so high and the life of common man has become harder as a storm of inflation and high price in the country.”
He said that inflation was a economic drone for the Pakistani peoples. He criticized the government for making deal with the IMF. He further said that prices of all fruits and vegetables had gone up by almost 100 percent in the last six months. Amna Malik, Fazal Butt and Aziza Begum also spoke.–Staff Reporter
