Police in a society holds an important role, which is not only limited to maintenance of law and order but also helping the common man in his hour of need. The relationship between police and the common man has never been so dreadful in our country. People prefer solving their problems themselves, instead of seeking help from police. This culture needs to be changed. Policemen must bring a change in their attitude towards the common man and vice versa. This will certainly help improve the overall law and order situation of the country.
