SADIQABAD - A PML-N lawmaker said his party had become Pakistan's most popular political force and would get victory and form governments across the country.

"Only Nawaz Sharif can rid the nation of crises. The whole nation has pinned the hope on the PML-N leadership. Insha'Allah, Nawaz Sharif will become prime minister of Pakistan," said MPA M Shafiq at the Sadiqabad Press Club. Flanked by Abdul Saboor, Khalid Mehmood, Zafar Iqbal, Abdul Ghafoor, and Dr Abdul Malik, the MPA said that the Punjab government was working to resolve the people's problems. He said that CM Shahbaz Sharif had made Punjab the most prosperous province of the country by removing deprivation of the people.

He said that the Punjab government was providing funds generously to bring the backward areas at par with the developed ones.

He said the Pakistan Muslim Leaque-Nawaz was serving the people practically instead of chanting pleasing slogans and making pledges.

He said that to serve the people altruistically and indiscriminately was his mission. He explained that he made possible the provision of all the basic facilities at the people's doorsteps including potable water, construction and rehabilitation of roads, sewage schemes and educational projects.

He said that there was no precedent of such development in the past. He expressed the hope that in the forthcoming general elections, his party would get landslide, adding that Sadiqabad was the stronghold of the party.

He said the Punjab government is providing billions of rupees funds for construction of roads between fields and markets and for raising the existing criteria of the people of South Punjab especially those of rural areas. He added that the Punjab chief minister was taking steps on emergency basis to resolve the people's problems.
