KARACHI - Aga Khan University (AKU) will organize a public awareness session on its various academic and professional development programmes on Saturday at AKU Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED), Karimabad Campus.The programmes include medicine, nursing, midwifery, health sciences and teacher education. An AKU official on Friday said that on the occasion, faculty and Registrar’s office will also respond to queries related to programmes, including admission process, availability of financial assistance and scholarships.Visitors will also get an opportunity to interact with faculty, students and alumni of various programmes. Stalls by academic entities of the University will also offer material related to the programmes and courses.There will also be presentations on different programmes, including Master of Education (MEd), Master of Science (MSc) Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Master of Science (MSc) Health Policy and Management, Master of Science in Nursing (MScN), Master of Health Professions Education (MPHE), Advanced Diploma in Human Development, Advanced Diploma in Health Professions Education and Post RN Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).    The highlight of the event will be an orientation session of AKU-IED’s newly established innovative Learning Studio, which will support blended learning approach for M.Ed and other graduate programmes.A virtual tour of the event site has also been created to allow access to interested participants within and outside Karachi. Interested participants will be required to register themselves at ied.or@aku.edu for the session.
